Getting There

Alternatively, take the Bergen Railway to Voss (1.5 hours, one of Europe’s most scenic train routes) and arrange a taxi or shuttle for the 30-minute final leg.

Myrkdalen’s après-ski is understated and cosy — this is not a party resort. The hotel bar at Myrkdalen Hotel is the primary gathering point after skiing, serving Norwegian craft beers and a good selection of warm drinks. The focus is on comfortable, sociable recovery rather than nightclubs and DJs.
